Friends, I’ve got some good news to share and am ready to shout it from Mt. Katahdin to Kennebunkport! My latest book Chowder Rules! The True Story of an Epic Food Fight received Maine’s Lupine Honor Award! This is so special because the award is given by the Maine Library Association, what an unbelievable accolade! I mean if librarians pour over your book, analyze it page by page, and then compliment your work, friends… it’s hard to put into words how much that kind of recognition means to me!
This book was written as a love letter to my home state of Maine. It’s the true story of one man’s fight to keep tomatoes out of his clam chowder. The hilarious tale is gorgeously illustrated by New Hampshire illustrator Vita Lane.
